Something Interesting about me. Hrmm.. I'm 28 and in the military. I have a beautiful wife that puts up with my computer geek ways, and two beautiful ( get it from their momma ) baby girls born on July 17, 2000 and May 1, 2003.
My main interests are web programming ( go figure ) and meeting new people on the net through multi-user games. The reason I started up this site is primarily through boredom. I couldn't find a game to RolePlay on that was equal to an old game that shut down many years ago called Dragon Realms. ( old Envy game ).
Hopefully there will come along a game in the soon to open listings that will catch my fancy and I can once more rush to combat hollering at the top of my lungs "I am KYNDIG!!" ( as my dwarven feet trip over my spear and I land face first at the feet of the fierce tree I was about to attack...'Where did I put me specs')

I'm Kyndig's better half ;) 25 in December..
I from various places in Montana, so I'm terribly missing the snow and mountains while down here in the swampy, hot, southern state he's stationed in. I'm missing getting to smell horses too, well riding them would be nice too.
My passion has always been books, then my brothers got me hooked on MUDding and I met this odd little dwarf who 'ho hum'd at everything. Now I'm running around after our dwelfettes, working on various sites, wishing I could be curled up the couch reading.. Or taking a nap, a nap sounds really good right now ;)

I am 32 years old, and a SSG(P) in the US Army. My military job involves dealing with routers, networks and wireless setups. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and am pursuing a Masters in Information Technology. I have been programming MUDs for over 5 years and working with Linux systems for almost as long.

I am married to a wonderful woman (Tamara), and have three children. Tamara and I are working with a select group of elite programmers on developing a ground-up MUD, hosted by MUDmagic.com.

I'm 31 years old, and an ex-military network switching/data systems guy. I currently teach a Systems Administrator/Network Manager Security course for the Dept. of Defense. I work with (and teach with) Cisco routers, enterprise firewalls, intrusion detection systems, cryptography applications, incident preparation and response, and general network vulnerability assessment using both Windows 2K and Unix/Linux platforms.

I have the honor of being able to list Robbert among some of my best friends. He and I met in Camp Red Cloud, Korea in 1999.

I am the proud father of 2 beautiful daughters (born in 1992 and 1994) and have been married to my wonderful wife since 1991. (We both met in training in the military. I proposed to her after knowing her for 3 months, and she asked me "What took so long?")

I have a little bit of MUD experience. I started in 1994 and played various characters and immortals on one and only one MUD for about 7 years. ("Re" to everyone who remembers the _old_ Moongate.)

If I were to give you a bio of my entire background, I could easilly fill up a few pages! So I'll make this short! I was introduced to MUD's in '94. My first MUD was DirtyMUD and was based on the Silly codebase. My first Immortal position was on Aesir (My first ROM codebase) where I played a God named Beowolf. I started my own MUD in '95 called The Shadow Realms (TSR). It's still around today, so I've had 6+ admin years. I also ran the Darkoth MUD Store for quite a while and was also the Systems Admin/V.P for mudservices.com for a year or so. Then I got married and took some time away from the MUD world. I'm now back and doing what I can to help out!

I paid my way through college working on a fishing trawler out of St. Johns. Three years and a bad GMAT score later saw me working as a waitress in Dallas Pike, PA. With my cockfighting winnings, I was able to purchase a second-hand rig and go into business for myself as a truck driver. My good fortune in shorting a couple dot-coms permitted me to settle down comfortably in the suburbs.
I've been playing MUDs since 1991, and have been in MUD Administration since early on in '95. While I have played many diffferent games, I can currently be found grandfathered in at Blue Facial MUD, where I started all those many years ago.

*The new Faq-Howto area is still under development. When it comes online, this will be Dionyza's primary area of focus.

Mud Developer, Linux Hacker, Mini-BOFH -- Need I say more?

I'm a 23 year old computer programmer from south Florida, whose main hobbies include developing and maintaining MU* server code, and being generally active in the MU* community, offering assistance as I'm able.

The majority of my MU* experience centers around DikuMUD and its descendants, though I dabble in other server as well. PennMUSH and Genesis(a ColdC driver) are particular favorites aside from diku-derivatives, but my curiosity has led to me playing with nearly every publically available MU* server at some point or other.

When I'm not busy with my own projects, I'm usually found here on MudMagic, keeping an eye on the Coder's Corner as well as the code repository. * The Coder's Repository is under development. Once complete, this will be Chil's primary area of focus.
